July 2nd was when this streak started. Of course during this time frame the Astros ran into a pretty soft schedule as well, so the M’s couldn’t gain much ground.

OK, so I decided to actually see what the WC format this year is now that we could see the M's in a race for it.

The only way a WC team gets a home game is if they are the top seeded of the 3. The bottom two WCs travel to a best of 3 and all 3 games are at the high seed. The top WC hosts the second best, and the worst of the 3 div winners hosts the lowest WC.

I get that back and forth for single games sucks, but so does reaching the post season and not having your fans be able to take part in it. That was the worst part of the 1 game play in. They just turned it into a best of 3 play in.

At least. I'd like to see 2 arms. They have been lucky on the pitching injury front, but they will have some tired arms in the second half.

I think they need pitchers more than bats for the stretch run
