my prediction: Lou is gonna be lights out thanks to working with Allaire again during the lockout and having this extremely big burr in his heiny (not alex) , canucks are gonna play ugly defensive hockey and win games 3-2 and 2-1 like they did in Lous first year and i have this feeling Vigneault gives him back his starters job

at the end of the season they trade him because he asked to be traded from the get-go

ever since team Canada came out of the cage like gorrilas in 2010, Nabokov has been about as talented as a banana

I don't know if Luongo would be my choice in a must win game 7 scenario (made a big save in OT prior to the Crosby winner in 2010 for the gold), but I sure as hell would pick him every day and twice on Sunday over Nabokov.

The Sharks should have destroyed the Oilers in the playoffs in 2006, the weak link was Nabokov.

That was over 6 years ago. The fact Nabokov was over .500 with the lousy team the Isles had in front of him says a lot about how he played last season. The Canucks have had one of the best teams in the entire league for awhile now. Luongo's numbers should be near the top of the league. Luongo was the reason the Canucks lost to the Bruins in the finals. He played well in the three games they won. He played like crap in the 4 games they lost.

8 goals scored in 7 games is the main reason the Canucks lost to the Bruins in the finals.

The goalie in the NHL is like the QB in the NFL. He gets the credit when they win. He gets the blame when they lose.

I look forward to Luongo being traded. I want to see how he performs on a team that doesn't have nearly as much talent as the one he's on right now.

I seriously doubt that. Heck if Schneider had played the entire series maybe the Cancuks win the series. We'll never know.

you are lost in the abyss that is luongo hatred without even knowing why except he was taken off your team and came with hype that you hate. man

I think a better analogy would be a pitcher in MLB (his main job is to stop the other team from scoring). However, if you don't score any runs (or goals), you're not going to win the game.
