I kinda feel bad for Schneider. Not that I think he can't be a star, but it is going to be one of the most high pressure situations on the planet to come into. Especially if Luongo is falling on his sword to make way for him. Nothing but an all-star season and deep playoff run will be considered good enough. And he'll be having to do it in a really hockey mad city with a crazy press corp.
Ask Jocelyn Thibault what that's like.
everything we've seen from Schneider is that he is absolutely cool as a cucumber.I kinda feel bad for Schneider. Vancouver has worked long and hard to be known as a "Goalie Graveyard"
Montreal, Tampa, Florida and ???

Lou is 33?
Whew!!!! Yes!!!!
He's too young for the Wings to try for him....
Thank you, thank you, thank you...
he is under contract until he's 43, if that makes you feel better

if Luongo went to Detroit and Lidstrom decided to not retire for one more shot and they won the cup with him as starter all would say that it was the team in front of him even though Howard has not won them a cup as starter either.
. Him in Montreal would be terrifying.
Ergo Luongo = Chris Osgood?!?
how so?
like a lot of people I dont believe Osgood got as much credit for his career as he should have. especially for the cup wins that he started for. guy was clutch when you needed most for any team stacked or not you still have to stop the puck and Osgood did a plenty.
...for him. If there's ONE city with HIGHER expectations than Vancouver, it's Montreal. I wouldn't be scared of the team with him, just know it'd be a terrible ending.
