This. Yeah, we got screwed on the rule, but it never should have come to that. Spike Owen is a pretty shitty 3B coach. He's gotten quite a few of our runners thrown out at home by a country mile. As that play was happening I was saying out loud "hold him!". It was pretty obvious that Lucroy didn't have a chance to score.

So... Red Sox and Indians both lost tonight. But now the Indians are without Corey Kluber for at least 7-10 days. No Kluber, Carrasco, or Salazar. That's rough. I really wouldn't mind seeing the Indians in Round 1, but I also want HFA throughout the playoffs.

Orioles beat Blue Jays, Orioles beat Red Sox, Rangers beat Indians, Rangers host Orioles for ALCS. Sound good?

I think Detroit has a better chance of beating Toronto with Verlander. Orioles have really played bad ball against the Sox and Jays.
