- limited no-trade protection (may block deals to 8 clubs) (for 2016, no-trade list includes Cleveland, Detroit, LA Angels, Minnesota, Oakland, San Diego, Seattle, Washington)
Not really. Cleveland can't contact Lucroy directly. That would be considered tampering.
on the bright side he will have to play for 5.25 mil next yearpoor fellaEntirely possible. On the other hand, he was quoted during the offseason saying all that "want to be traded to a contender" blah, blah, blah.
Whatever. I hope he never makes the playoffs.
I'm sorry. You just don't understand. @Guns N Guitars said it's the Indians responsibility. He knows stuff.

I think this actually weakens the Brewers' position exponentially. Had they done their due diligence on their own fucking player before agreeing a trade with Cleveland they could've leveraged Cleveland's offer against competing offers. This is just publicly one less team in the race that other potential suitors have to bid against. He's not going to get it. He can only veto trades to six teams. He was obviously in the drivers seat on this one, but now the Brewers are, and he just fucked them.
You only think you know me.
