Nice risk/reward for the Astros I now see. $ 3.25 mil for a guy you could slide right into your closers role. If he is and stays healthy.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, there was some thought that he might close in Tampa when Rodney went through a rough patch and the Astros had real trouble closing the few games they were in position to close. Still, I'm skeptical that they'll have a lot of opportunities to do that this year. Could easily be wrong, though.

Oh I remember. I thought it was a disaster from the day the contract was signed, and was proven right. And, with that big contract, I guess they still have to keep running him out there. Lucky for the Dodgers though, it will never have to be in any sort of high stress or leverage situations.
