It's plain and simple. The pre season rankings have the Los Angeles Lakers finishing at number 12 and I completely agree with that assessment. We can thank our front office for the situation we are in. We traded for a 90 year old point guard, who by the way, is already hurting. We hired a coach who has no clue over a legend and I don't care what you say, let a franchise player simply walk in favor of two senior citizens in Pau Gasol and Chris Kayman. So fans, it is what it is and it's going to be worse than it ever was in 2013, so get ready for the brown paper bags in the Staples Center this winter. Thanks Mitch and Baby Buss.

It was actually in favor of Kobe, since Dwight wanted us to trash one of our Lakers legends. We did the best we could with "Plan B" since our Plan A of getting CP3 got vetoed. The Lakers wanted to win now so they took a chance on Nash and Dwight, we might not win in those decisions but it was definitely better than doing nothing.

And I'm guessing you aren't a Lakers fan or a big fan of basketball because it's Chris "Kaman".

This franchise is never down for very long....consider the Knicks as a comparison. Yeah I'm ok having to cope with a down year or two. Bottom line we never stand pat and sometimes it doesn't always play out but as Immortal said precisely: definitely better than doing nothing!

Outlaw, thanks for the spelling correction on Chirs Kaman, I appreciate that. That's how much I really have being paying attention to the siffs the Lakers have been signing these days. Just giving an opinion here and I will relive this thread in a few months to see if everyone is still gung hoe about the 2nd best team in LA these days.

Actually I think Kaman will be a better compliment to Gasol. I think the Lakers will be better with him then Howard. Now this all depends on the health of Nash and Kobe this year
