AD makes a jumper and the lead is just 2 as the third comes to a close.
i just want to make playoffs. But like you said , we continue the 4th quarter fade for 6 years. Bench was outscored big time.Just like the last five years, the Lakers faded in the fourth and lose the opener by 10. Kawhi had an off night shooting but others stepped-up and made shots when we didn't. Turnovers also killed us in the fourth and LeBron had several. Still have not fixed some of the enduring problems of the Lakers. Only one game but if this continues we will not have the year everyone has been forecasting.
Krap. Dwight Howard gets a dunk and a jump shot blocked and the Clips go up by 4.
KCP 27 minutes 0 points. And Kawahi killed him in the second quarter. Captain Clank at his best.
I won't give him grief on the first game. The problem is without two key players, Rondo, Kuz, it hurts us more then the Clippers not having George. They have a deeper bench then the Lakers. We have to be at full strengh to beat them IMO and guys have to hit open shots period. I wish we never pursued Leonard. Depth is critical.I recently read an article that indicated Vogel screwed-the-pooch in substitutions in the second half of the Clip joint game. The article made the point that Vogel kept substituting KCP for Danny Green when Green was red hot and nearly single-handedly brought us back in the third to tie the game. The most blatant error took place in the fourth when Vogel sent KCP in for Green middle-to-late in the gamé when KCP had gone ofer for the game and Green was hitting threes. The article continued that this sort of coaching BS may have been influenced by Rich Paul, KCP's agent in addition to being AD's agent. The author stated that that sort of move reminded him of Luke Walton and if the sort of thing continues and we lose to Utah, he suggested that Vogel may be out the door in favor of one of the bevy coaching all-stars that ride the bench with Vogel. Whether any of this has any basis is arguable but it does raise questions about the outcome of that game and its alternative result.
Magic giving away Zub to Clippers was dumb as hell.Yea Tomodach. One if the guys we are going to regret trading is Moritz Wagner.
