We have completely fallen apart at this point. Little to no offense and just as scarce a defense.
James didn't even bother to defend that shot with his teammate.
Get use to this. James, for the better part of two years (last year especially), will flat out not play defense for long stretches of time. A bit of it is laziness, but most of it is he's getting older and conserving his energy for all the other stuff he has to do (basically control the entire offense). He'll lock in on D in spurts and in late game scenarios, but most of the time you'll see him not even bother to rotate or help (for giggles, watch how often he'll act like another teammate was suppose to do it)
Luke's team loses another game in the 4th quarter. This is getting old!! I am starting to have my doubts about him.
Thanks. I was venting lolAfter 7 games? With this many new faces?
The Heat had Lebron, D-Wade and Bosh his first year in Miami...at one point, 17 games in...they were 9-8.
In his first year back in Cleveland...they had Kyrie and Kevin Love...at one point early in the season, they had a losing record.
Both teams lost several close games early. Both teams lost game to teams that they had no business losing to.
Those are teams with all star players, 2 of whom are future HoF'ers, 2 more who might be HoF'ers and Lebron.
This is a team of Lebron, talented kids and spare parts. Gonna take some time.
I'm not saying Luke is necessarily the answer, but right now, he's not the problem either.
