I hope Magic is just driving up the price of Davis for the off-season When celtic give up a ton and lose Kyrie to the Knicks. Then Davis leaves for Lakers after next season. That four first round pick nonsense by the Pelicans is laughable. They will continue to be a losing franchise forever.

No shit. They tanked that shit on purpose. Shameful performance.

That's actually a pretty good trade. Bullock is a good shooter, especially from 3, and a pretty decent defender. He's much better than Svi at this point by a mile. He's a useful rotation player and could potentially be in a bigger role if KCP is apart of any trades

Great trade for the Pistons

Get a young shooter who is only going to get better with more PT and a 2nd rounder for a guy on an expiring contract

Bullock can help down the stretch too....plays defense and a scrappy player. He can shoot also.

Deadline has passed. No Davis (as expected, at least by me)

There were deals though

We traded Zubac and Beasley for Mike Muscala, 3 point shooting center.

This also opens up a roster spot and so you know the Lakers will be very active in the buyout market, and there looks to be many good rotation players available.

Most likely. But I'd honestly rather see them get Kanter than Melo. If you're gonna get a forward that plays no defense, at least get one that can still score and rebound

They already have 4 bigs (McGee, Chandler, Muscala, Wagner). Lebron's going to get the majority of the minutes at the 4.

Lebron is more PG than anything, especially with Ball being out. Wagner isn't ready for heavy minutes and Kanter would provide a good spark and production off the bench and in certain match ups where Chandler or McGee aren't giving them anything. He can play either 4 or 5 and since Melo is pretty much just a 4 at this point, Kanter would be more productive pick imo.

I'd also love for them to dump Lance for Ellington, but Ellington has a ton of suitors.

Muscala and Bullock were decent pickups.....they can shoot better than the players that are gone.
