Its close. We have 8 teams within 5 points of each other. Philly is at 23 and 3 teams at 28. Even Buffalo is in the middle of the wildcard race with 22.
TB would be out of the playoffs right now if season ended. I do think they get on a streak and start moving up the standings.

Total domination yesterday, was great to see, especially with Kinkaid in net. That's what we need to do against bad teams. Josefson finally getting on the board and Henrique's goal was absolutely filthy. He has taken it to another level. 12 goals on the year for The Truth.

Unrelated, but see Montreal waived Semin. Guy is not that old. He just hit a dead end career wise. Glad the Devils had no part of signing that guy last few years.

Badly outplayed the last two games despite 1-0-1. Cory has stolen 3 points for us but we cant keep playing 3/4 of the game in our D zone

Happy to say I was able to watch our boys play vs Red Wings and at Islanders... that Detroit game was unbelievable to be there for that comeback and Palmeiri breakaway... SUUUUUUUUWEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Islanders game left me grumpy.

Its not fair for him but every time I watch Matteau I get more angry by the minute. He shouldn't be here, that pick should've been forfeited without 20/20 hindsight bs.... not only that, why was he drafted? I don't see anything warranting a first rd pick. He's not super quick, doesn't show elite speed, puck handle, creative playmaker, possess a big shot, not great at one particular thing. Seems like his ceiling is solid 4th guy.....

Good news is Rico is back in practice today. Not a definite for tomorrow night but he's a gamer I'd be surprised unless it (whatever the hell it is....)got worse from todays practice.
