I remember we did a historical Hall of Fame vote a while back. Where else am I going to get into a debate on whether or not Deacon White deserves to be a Hall of Famer?

I miss JR_Hart's straw man arguments about how Ferris Fain and Max Bishop should be in the HOF solely because of OBP.

The only one that overrates prospects is the front office. How many prospects have we given up in trades that we regret now? I know we are all teary eyed over not having Casey Kelly...

That's a good point. But they build all of these guys up as stars and so few of them pan out. Anthony Rizzo was the last star player that they developed. They haven't produced a single Major Leaguer from the last 3 drafts. I'm just tired of seeing the procession of guys like Middlebrooks, JBJ, Ranaudo, Cecchini, Lavarnway, Lars Anderson etc... that just come up and suck.

It's been a loooong time since they developed the likes of Lester, Pedroia, Papelbon, Ellsbury, Reddick, Masterson(even Jed Lowrie) and others. I think this is where they miss Theo the most. He was awesome at the draft/development of players.

Sox got 16 hits, 13 runs and Napoli went 0 for 5 and is now hitting .205. How much longer is Farrell going to keep him in the lineup? They should put Holt there or in LF and move Ramirez back to the infield where he belongs at first base. What to do with Napoli? trade him or bench him. They may have to eat his salary but that is nothing new for the Sox. For whatever reason he has tanked. Thanks for yesterday Nap, we don't need your k's today. they also need to keep Ortiz out of the lineup against lefties (.292 OPS (no, that is not a typo) against LHP this year in 77 PA).

the better question is , how long does Farrell keep his job? It's about time someone starts admitting he isn't what he was claimed to be.
