Have you considered what will happen if one of the playoff teams comes down with Covid?

what if they don't, which is more likely....can also have more of a bubble like situation for the CFP as well.

Even though unlikely, wonder what they'd do if both MD and OSU finished with 1 loss and only teams tied for BIG East title. Have to think they'd take into account MD responsible for them not playing?

My guess is they would go with the higher ranked team.

Though I guess not really a shock Maryland players might not take this as seriously as players who could win a title. Notice it's LSU that went off the rails (after clear they had no shot)? Seems like Bama, ND, OSU and Clemson (other than their Jeff Spicoli wannabe QB) have taken virus seriously......so far.

FWIW, ND did have to shut down earlier this season. And had a game postponed. Had it not been for a well placed bye week, we would have had to postpone another one.

Has it occurred to anyone else how much MD is benefitting from simply not playing some games? seriously. it took a loss off their record.......

Maybe if a team "has" to cancel due to covid they should be forced to forfeit. It would give ALL teams the incentive and motivation to stay safe and covid free.
