I like to see the quote and where it is from.

I actually heard it on the radio this week they were talking about how Stan said that. Besides If San Diego and Oakland get to move to LA with the NFL approval I doubt Stans going to want to be there? You can't have 3 teams there.

Yes but it's a football city too. I find it amazing 50,000 people still show up.

Sorry to say that approx. 60% of the 50000 that show up are opposing team fans!.:L

Oh Zekie poo that's not true. Ive been to a couple games this year. 20% tops for the other teams. You just notice 20% because it's a lot. Again 12 straight seasons of losing football. If the team was in LA how many would be there? Anyone notice the crowd at the Pittsburgh game on last Sunday night?? a ton of empty seats. Attendance isn't just a problem in St. Louis it's all over the NFL.

The LA Rams had piss poor attendance during their last few seasons in LA... Consecutive losing seasons will do that.

Pittsburgh is averaging 98.4% ticket sales at home games. Rams are dead last at 80.5%. Top 14 teams are at 100% or exceeding it. Only 3 teams are below 90%: the Rams, the Raiders at 86.6%, and Washington at 82.5% (but average 23K fans more than the Rams per home game, their stadium is enormous with 95K+ capacity).

More good news for STL. The NFL said they will contribute an Extra 100m towards the new stadium in STL. Contributing 300m versus 200m. Hmmmm Sounds like they want this to work out here.

Exactly. Look at the Lakers. great for how many years... and now they have had a couple bad seasons and have had to slash ticket prices. The attendance argument is silly. The NFL knows exactly why attendance is down. A shitty product on the field.

It's more than that. All the teams worse than the Rams have been outdrawing them for years now. The Browns fans got supremely crapped on by having their very well-supported team move away and replaced by an expansion team. They play outdoors in cold weather, and they still outdraw the Rams by almost 14K/game.

Dome team with super bowl appearances in the past 15 years at the bottom of the league in attendance. Solid defense and stud RB. No support.

It would be way worse if the team was in LA and performed like this for the last 12 years so I don't see the point.

So if the NFL says no to Stan and they tell him he must stay in St Louis what happens to his stadium? I hear that the Bulldozers are already breaking ground in Inglewood on an approved stadium. So would he lease that stadium to the Chargers/Raiders? Sounds crazy to me.

That's for sure...:agree:
It seems to me Oakland stays in Oakland. Chargers go to LA. And St lou stays put. These are not written in stone just seems to be the way the wind is blowing. I defer to anyone who knows for sure.
