the stats just proved that they are red zone targets. you and shark are saying we have no redzone threat. That is wrong.

Those stats only prove it to you, my friend. I find it supports Shark's concerns absolutely. We have no receiving end zone threat. 6 TDs from a WR corp is not a threat, its the law of averages. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

You guys want to the biggest RISK WR in this draft. His stock is falling b/c of work ethic, suspect hands, and inability to separate but just b/c he is 6'5 he passes the test. Bullshit.

What cracks me up dean is you get so wound up on what we think. You do realize that we aren't making the pick, right? Allen isn't calling shark or I to get our input.

That's the beauty.....you don't have to get it. You don't have to agree. The reality is neither you or I know shit. We get our info from other supposed experts. We haven't scouted these guys. Watching a highlight reel is not scouting. You stated your opinion ( which is not a fact, btw), as you explained your reasoning. Others do the same. You don't have to agree. But if you took the time to actually listen, you might understand other opinions. But you jump immediately to your own conclusions (like I want us to take a WR at 34) of which I never said.

All I said is that you and Shark want Benjamin if he is there at 34. The only other guy you would take over Benjamin is Moses. I just proved to you that the guys stock is dropping. I know my word isn't law

Also keep in mind the small entertainment value involved in this process to keep us hooked into a draft of all things.
You think we would care about this process if things weren't changing or names weren't rising and falling?
I still want [email protected] based on what the experts are saying, he won't be there. So if he's gone...
I'd want Tuitt, Hageman, Nix, Dee Ford, Verrett, Kouandijo, Benjamen.(as options at 34)
Shoot I'd even be happy with Amaro or Austin Seferian-Jenkins because I know we can run a two-TE set or allow Morris to just punish the D.

As much as I'm not crazy about Benjamen at 34, I do realize that he does have potential factor. If he can run a [email protected]'s say we get him in shape and next year he's 232 running a 4.5 and much more stronger and shiftier.
He's a deep threat, red zone threat, a blocker, a decoy. Not a terrible risk.

Its a risk b/c there are reports out there that he has bad work ethic and cant separate. IF this guy had any upside what so ever he would be a top 10 pick with his size. He is not. He might not even be a 1st round pick. Why? Its a terrible risk. Besides Calvin what 6'5 Wr's are dominating the NFL today?

How did you prove it? Look at what you wrote. If I wrote the same thing about Moses, would you agree?

See, this is where we get sideways, dean. What you posted was an opinion, not a fact. Do you understand the difference?

And that's fine. But it's one mans opinion that he arrived at by consulting "sources". That right there yells smoke screen to me. There is no facts in anything he said, thus nothing was proven to me.

As some one who has watched him the past couple of years I will tell you he doesnt need to lose much, but he does have to maintain and not gain. Benjamin is one you could line up almost any place and he should contribute.

I've stuck with Moses because I believe he can beat out what we have on the roster now and become a cornerstone at his position. If he's off the board, no one else JUMPS out at me...we have depth everywhere and obviously players we need to put through the fire once more at S. I like Tuitt and Ward, I do believe we will benefit from a reach on QBs, WRs, and perhaps even Dee Ford may open up....Hageman or Nix to us. Our NT play has been great, but an injury there could be costly

of the 20 combined passing tds washington had last season 14 were in the red zone or 70%

garcon 4
reed 3
paulson 3
moss 2
hankerson 2

2 more receptions 1 davis 23 yds and 1 hankerson 24 yds

those are the best facts i can come up with

we were 22 in scoring

so i dont know how big an issue a red zone wr threat is going to be at 34 . i also dont know why i cant get that from TE or a wr pick lower in the draft
