It's the haters that make his story greater by the year. Remember, he has at least 8-10 more seasons ahead of him!

Two things I'd like to add. First off, why the huge use of CAPS on words in sentences? I'm seeing it A TON in this thread. Every 7th word doesn't NEED to be put in CAPS to emphasize your points. We GET it.

Secondly, I don't hate the Heat, I don't hate Lebron. I really don't even watch the NBA for what it has turned in to. What I don't really like is the media's portrayal of Lebron and the Heat, as if there isn't another team or player we're supposed to like. Kinda like the portrayal the media puts on New England and Brady.

Lebron is a once in a genrational player. His talent is amazing. But we don't need the media to shove him down our throats. I know this media crush will never stop, but I'm just giving my $.02

I dunno. I'd say the "hate" comes from fans like the ones you typically see on here. The majority of paid media is all about talking Lebron up. Sure they question him from time to time, but my point is that there are other players and teams in the NBA.

Like I said, I don't hate lebron(that word gets waaaaaay overused), just the nonstop coverage they put on him. These finals were portrayed more about whether Lebron would step up or choke than about which team would prevail.

What I saw from Lebron and Duncan in the final minute was pure emotion. I have never seen Timmy hace emotional when he missed that layup. He is one of the best if not the best PF of all-time. He is still playing at a high level at his, it is pretty ridiculous. I am a Lebron fan, but I feel for Duncan even he has 4 rings, if he was just a little younger I guarantee he would of had this ring.

@CL I could believe your hatred to LBJ to be some what rational if you your self did not have a team you root for in 3 different parts of the country.

But I refuse to rationalize with LBJ haters and bandwagon fan haters. I do not make them stand behind shitty teams with horrific management that will never accomplish enough to keep me interested in the sport. They can hate on me for appreciating greatness or they can realize them rooting for their shitty teams year in and year out is why their teams can continue to be shitty.

I remember when Lions fans showed up in Bengal uniforms for a home game. Matt Millen was fired that year.

Wow, really? Evil? Lebron is one of the least evil individuals in the NBA. He's an incredible ambassador for the game off the court. In fact, he's probably going to be getting on a plane this weekend to come back up here to Akron to start running his summer camps. He gives an incredible amount of his time and money to his community up here. He is the polar opposite of evil. Sorry you're too big of a hater to see that. well, it isn't like that's science or anything. i'm a Chiefs fan because my uncle and cousins were Chiefs fans and raised me on it, plus strong family ties to the region(mom, uncles, aunts and cousins still natives). Rangers because they were the first team i followed in hockey, and the Lakers because they were the first team i followed in basketball. not all that hard to see...

as far as bandwagoners go their "loyalty" is as easily changed as it gets. now i can respect a fan of someone who's followed their team through thick and thin. in fact i RESPECT it. it shows their perserverence as a fan. bandwagoners can simply change a jersey and say "i'm a fan of this team" and it makes them look like complete clowns...
