Wow, Federer and Djokovic are on fire. Outstanding play from both. To top it all off, Djokovic wraps up the year as No. 1. It would be nice to see the two of them battle for the championship.

It's been crazy how they have torn through such an elite field. Their conditioning and scheduling is much better than everyone elses.

The ripping of Murray by Roger really surprised me. I expected a win but not like that.

I wonder if Mauresmo is going to get canned?

Federer is the best indoor player of his generation, and arguably the best ever on super fast surfaces.

Murray has a bigger loops in his groundstrokes, and that fraction of a second to perform the shot adds up over 2-3 sets.

Even at his old age, when Fed's on, the only player I see beating him regularly on indoor lightning fast surfaces is Djokovic.

Thanks for the info, I totally agree.

Mauresmo is probably wondering the same thing.

Not sure it is AMMO's fault but she probably is done. Murray has not looked right since the back surgery.

he's actually had a spectacular 6 weeks leading up to this tournament.

amazing he made the YEC at all given where his ranking was after the US Open.

i've been so busy, i haven't had time to watch, but from what i've read, only 1 match in the first 3 days even went 3 sets. yikes.

I haven't been watching either but they gave me no reason to.

Pretty shitty tournament.

I think Fed & Wawrinka may be decent tomorrow but I think Novak is going to destroy Kei

I sort of see it every day but if I know the result my watching is less serious.

I don't see the need for the tournament anyway as far as that goes.

If I'm hoping, it's Federer and Nishikori.

If I'm betting (which I do not do) I'd be Federer and Djokovic.

No true need for it but it gives you something to look forward to after the US Open. If not for this tourney, most people wouldn't watch any tennis at all until January.

I'm also pretty sure it means a lot to make the tournament as there must be some nice reward money for making the top 8 so this is significant for guys like Cilic, Kei, & Raonic

That pretty much describes me. Once football season starts I really don't watch tennis hardly.

I think they would be better off having an indoor season at the end of the US Open and maybe another major championship this time of year and then give them 6 weeks off.

I would also move the Aussies out 1 week and the French up a week or 2. Spread everything out.
