No, as the article is simply listing factual information. 17th sounds about right for # of first rounders. But first rounders aren't the only players that end up in the NBA. And UMn is #12 at producing NBA players.Oh now that hurts. Why can't we be friends? Nobody has spewed as many lies as you. And there's something wrong with you that you honestly think Minnesota is elite in football, baseball, **basketball** hockey & everything else.
The other day you were pimping up Minnesota's baseball coach. Think his name's Anderson? Been there since '82. He has some damn good coaching numbers. Nearly 40 years but zero national titles. National titles define coaches. Your coach has none.
** = overly bragging about the number of NBA draft picks from Minnesota. Stop that shit super-homer. Here's something you won't like.
This was the most recent article I found- (from si) Which school has the most first round picks all time in the NBA draft (11/18/20). But of course you'll probably say si (that's sports illustrated) has a "biased agenda" & the article is nothing more than "click bait".
1. Kentucky- 52
2. Carolina- 51
3. dook- 48
4. UCLA- 39
5. Kansas- 32
17. Minnesota- 16
And those players score plenty of points and bring down plenty of rebounds, etc.
And UMn's 4 Naismith HOFers is hard for most schools to match.
And a UMner having the Western Conf Title Trophy named after him is also unique.
Add in UMn's 3 Natl Titles, including 2 of the first, being back2back titles with a drubbing of the other program that could argue to be the sport's first cbb dynasty.
And add in UMn's influence and place in both the creation of the NBA and it's first Dynasty, the Mpls Lakers.
And add in UMn's place in the earliest version of women's basketball, they once went 36-1 before the powers that be deemed it improper for women to play sports.
Total all of that up and not a lot of schools can claim as much.
