So Lamarr Houston out for the year, tore his ACL celebrating a sack in an ass whooping as his team trailed by 25 points?

The Bears should think about signing Tebow.

Won't make em any better but it will give everyone a reason to keep watching them.

Odd comment coming from a Lions fan. It wasn't too long ago people forgot their was a franchise in Detroit, remember?

Maybe you didn't notice, but Chicago receivers didn't get open in the 1st half. Cutler had no one to throw to. We saw several plays where New England defenders were able to get their hands in there and break up the passes. Chicago receivers got no seperation in the 1st half. So what did you want Cutler to do, force balls when receivers were not open? That would have resulted in INTs. Cutler did the only thing he could do with the receivers not getting open. He avoided forcing balls because he didn't want to throw INTs. His only INT today was on the hail mary at the end of the half.

The problem was the Pats were super charged and the Bears didn't show up. Trestman didn't have them prepared. It's not about 1 player when 1 team completely dominates another team like that.

No need for people to admit they were wrong about Cutler, because he's having the best season of his career. Completing 67% of his passes, 17 TD passes, 96 passer rating, etc. The stats say he's doing a great job. It's a team game and there are a lot of reasons why they're 3-5. Too bad they blew that last game last season when Cutler played great but the defense allowed Rodgers to throw the 48 yard TD pass on 4th and 8 with 38 seconds left. Cutler should have been in the playoffs last season. I've never seen a QB with such hard luck.

actually I watched Comcast postgame show in Chicago and they showed receivers open all over the place. the 3 and 8 where cutler checked down to forte for a 2 yd gain showed jeffry 40 yds downfield uncovered. I wouldn't notice if receivers were open or not because we don't have a camera view during the game of receivers routes. I don't know how you do.

avoided forcing balls? he threw a ball to Bennett in triple coverage that was picked off and a beyond stupid throw. luckily for him a defender hit Bennett early.

the best season of his career has him ranked 13th in passer rating? he has 2 top 10 receivers, a top 5 back, a good tight end, and a good offense line. he doesn't protect the ftball. his fumbles aren't blind side hits. it is him being careless with the ftball. is he unlucky or is he a big part of the problem?

excuses is all I hear from cutler supporters. he did play the best game of his career against the packers last season. no one questions he has flashes of brilliance but he doesn't do it enough to be a top 10 qb in this league. he is an average qb at best and a mistake machine. nothing more

95.8 is an excellent passer rating. Most years that will get a QB somewhere between 5 and 10 at the end of the season. We'll have to see if Cutler can keep it up, but right now the stats say that he's having a great season. To put it in perspective, Peyton Manning's career rating is 97.9. Cutler this season is 95.8. You'd never know that's he's actually having his best season with the massive beating he's taking from the media right now. Look at the beating he's taking for yesterday. The headline is 2 turnovers. The fact is the fumble should have been blown dead because the forward progress was stopped, and the INT was meaningless because it was a last second hail mary. But the media writes 2 turnovers because they love to make him look bad.

Cutler does a good enough job making himself look bad. He doesn't need any help from the media.

Well - the 90's today is the 80's ten years ago, which was 70's twenty-thirty years ago, and 60's years before that.

Just to put things in perspective (average career ratings)

Aaron Rogers: 105.8
Russel Wilson: 100.8
Kaepernick: 93.9
RG III 91.8
Roethlisberger: 92.6
Montana: 92.3
Matt Ryan: 90.7
Chad Pennington: 90.1
Matt Schaub: 89.8
Cam Newton 86.8
Marino: 86.4
Cutler 84.8
Kelly: 84.4
Moon: 80.9
Bart Starr: 80.5
Fouts: 80.2
Elway: 79.9
Stabler: 75.3
Unitas: 75.2
Bradshaw: 70.9

Cutler is average - currently in 13th place, a full 6 spots below Kyle Orton for 2014. In today's game, you're having a good year if you're over 100.

Cutler would be killing it, if he played in the 80's. Unfortunately, he's not.
