I honestly don't know.At this point... Does it really matter since they are merging anyway
I honestly don't know.
to me, while I like seeing the big names play, I don't think I watch enough golf to care. I love me some golf and I do like seeing some of these big players out there, but I don't watch on a week to week basis to really care.Me neither

I agree with you there...I want to see the Rahms and Cam Smiths play.It does for me a little bit more since I volunteer at events ad I would love to see quality play with "names" but I get what you are saying
It seems like the merge might be dead. But its tough to blame anyone for taking $600m as much as I hate this for the sport of golf.At this point... Does it really matter since they are merging anyway

Deadline is 12/31. PGA has already been meeting other suitors. It's not going to happen. And honestly it probably was never going to happen. No you can't blame someone for taking the money, especially that amount.
Merger is dead?

I think it is pretty clear that the players really don't care about the fans and that is kind of bothering me most about all this.

One tournament director said that sponsors were "saying they won’t do it, they’ve had enough."

So tournaments are unhappy with the money the pga tour wants, yet it's Phil and LIV's fault?Phil and LIV have killed professional golf with their greed. I hope they are happy with their 17 viewers on the fucking CW.
Why do you think the PGA is having to push for higher and higher payouts that are completely unsustainable is a capitalist business model? So tournaments are unhappy with the money the pga tour wants, yet it's Phil and LIV's fault?
That's some serious mental gymnastics you've got going on there.
Because their players demand it.Why do you think the PGA is having to push for higher and higher payouts that are completely unsustainable is a capitalist business model?
