Franklin was basically on the way out before their fluke win against OSU. I'll give him credit for managing to beat Wisconsin for the conference title that year, but since then, they've been fairly underwhelming. He's also getting his ass handed to him on the recruiting trail at the moment.I won't lie....I did laugh a bit at it. Franklin, who's like 3-12 against Mich, OSU and MSU, getting ranked #1 was kinda laughable (Ranked above two coaches who have a winning record against him). And as much as I joke about Day being a high school coach, putting him 1 spot above Lovie Smith is unjustifiable.
I think top to bottom, the Big10 beats out the SEC. SEC might have passed the B1G with Urban gone.Franklin was basically on the way out before their fluke win against OSU. Dantonio would've been #1 if not for his shit season a few years ago. Overall, I will say the coaching talent in the B1G is really solid right now, probably second only to the SEC.
How about a team with a national title in all the sports you listed?List of teams to make the postseason for basketball, baseball, hockey, and NY6 Bowl.

Acting like michigan has won an actual football championship... pfftHow about a team with a national title in all the sports you listed?

Actually, you're the first to discount the value of college baseball....Someone probably already laughed and I'm too lazy to go through the comments, but lol at including college baseball.
Outside of Saban and Smart who do they have? Mullins is largely unimpressive to me. Coach O hasn’t really been successful at all. Jimbo has been horrendous ever since Crab Legs left.I think I'd take 4 maybe 5 SEC coaches before anyone in the B1G.

Sure, baseball is a pretty significant college sport in some regions. I imagine no college sport is significant in NY.So you're actually serious with this prompting up Michigan thread. Lol. You do you.

Malzahn is about to be fired. I take a look at the ease of recruiting and talent. It’s easier to get quality talent at Michigan than Northwestern but Fitzgerald has done fairly well with coaching people up. Jimbo hasn’t shown that at all and FSU was in shambles when he left.I think Saban, Kirby and Jimbo are pretty obvious choices when comparing the top of what the B1G has. 7 of his 9 seasons he's finished top 20. 4 seasons in the top 10. 5 BCS/NY6 bowl appearances. Then I debated between Mullen and Malzahn.
