This year, I'm going to try to come up with some bok predictions as far as what the Lions might do and what I see in different prospects. I have a few things in mind that I personally anticipate the Lions doing this offseason and I'll present them one at a time. I also have my own opinions about these college prospects and I will present those things too.

Since I've spoken about Tevin Coleman lately, I'll speak on my thoughts of the kid:

This kid is a monster at 6'1 210 lbs and I predict he will be one of the most coveted players in 2015 and his stock will rise the closer we get to the draft. Im not sure Gordon is surely the number one RB here. From what Ive seen and researched, Coleman is an outstanding person and player. I know a few people close to him and his dad that says the same. To me, everything about him will translate well to the NFL and teams without RBs will defenitely consider him in the first round. Write it down.

He might even slip in a tick under 4.4.

He's an incredible talent. Makes me happy every time someone brings him up. That way I don't have to.

Right LP- I think most of us want an upgrade (or upgrades) at RB, it's just an issue of where said RB gets drafted...

First round, LP?

Depends how our FA offseason goes. If we can sign a couple(maybe 3) o-linemen(and by o-linemen I mean good o-linemen), and either keep Suh(not tagging) or simply field a solid d-linemen rotation(b/c right now we don't really have one), then I think we COULD target a RB like Coleman in the first(although I would want one of the top CBs if still there).

It really just depends how our FA signings go. If none or a little of the above happens, then no way should we grab a RB in the first. We will have bigger "needs" in the trenches.

I wouldn't mind an upgrade at RB or 3rd WR, but not in the first or 2nd round. Joique is not elite. But he's the same caliber at his position as Digs, Mosley, Jason Jones, and Mathis, but even more than Waddle or whoever the starting OG is besides Watford.

If we can bring Suh back, I really think OG is our only major need, and we could literally go BPA without much risk. But assuming Suhs gone, RB should be the last of our priorities.

It doesn't matter to me whom is as long as its an upgrade over the people we have.

Best weapon we could give the offense is a good running game.

A good running game would be a big help to the defense as well.

Get a deal done with Suh, sign Iupati, draft a RB in the first is fine by me.

I think Iupati is damaged goods after that horrific leg injury and concussion. But the rest sounds great.

Thats basically what Im saying Dr. Eviler (I hate typing that). I bet there is a gaurd that is probably pretty good that will be a FA that none of us know about that could be had. It doesn't have to be Lupati, just a good one. We NEED a good running game that teams respect.

I do think we need a Gaurd to replace Sims, but I'd rather not spend the money via Free Agency, unless it was a helluva deal. If Iupati wants more than $5 mil, no thanks. We are in a good spot, 1st or 2nd round, to nab a pretty good OG. No need to panic.

Well, we need to also keep in mind that the Lions could decide to have Swanson compete at LG and focus on a C also. I start looking at interior linemen in the third unless theres a steal available sooner.

Running backs seem so dime a dozen these days. I'd personally rather see us go O-line early and draft 2 running backs in the later rounds. Build it from the inside out.

I'm not sure where this theory that good RBs are always available. If that were the case, almost every team would have good ones and we know thats not the case. Good RBs make all the difference in the world.
