The Lions have 8 days to make a contract before any other team can talk to him. I bet Lions sign him to a 5 year deal worth $102 million.

Suh seems too much a competitor to just quit and Haynesworth it or something. He got paid a ton of money as a rookie in the first place so I don't see him as a liability by whoever picks him up in FAgency. Oakland is the most fitting place for him (just attitude, etc.) but I almost bet he goes somewhere like NY Jets.

 Most likely wearing a Jag or Raider uni soon.

That would surprise me greatly if he goes for the money instead of a little bit less to play for a real team.

Two things those close to Suh have said... Suh wants to play in a Big City and out West. My gut feeling tells me it isn't about the money but a Ring... Seattle is where I believe Suh will end up if the Lions don't get a long term deal done.

It's going to be at least a little bit about the money. And I really doubt Seattle is going to be able to afford what he will want.

agreed that Seattle can't afford him. The salary cap isn't going up enough and we got Wagner, Lynch, and Wilson to sign this year.

If Suh signed with Seattle, half the 49er fan base would throw themselves off the golden gate bridge which would be worth it to begin with, but even though Suh has telegraphed he would love to be back in the PACNW, we've heard this music too many times before to know it's almost always a agent based ploy to squeeze max dollars out of teams that could afford it somehow.

If he doesn't re-sign with Detroit, the Raiders are his likely destination. They can pay him a max deal and I'm sure Norton is looking to make a splashy signing as the new DC. His talents would be a total waste there, but it is what it is.

Would love to see Suh in seahawks uni this fall, but can't see it happening.

Could be the Niners, no? :hope:
That 9ers window would instantly slam right back open. Wide open!

Oakland, SEA, SanFran,.... Fuckin' Chicago or the Giants are my guesses. Jacksonville would really surprise me.

But Im hopin' for something crazy like 7 years 125Mil with record setting guaranteed to stick around and give me a reason to not hate Sundays.

Would that be Whinertastic? (fan-tastic)

Oh. Stop teasing.

From the way Suh talks about wanting to help the Lions win a Super Bowl, you can tell the "Ring" is on his mind. If those closes to Suh are saying Suh wants to play in a Big City and on the West Coast, Seattle has the team to do it. But then again "Rump Ranger Bay(oops hidden from RoboticDream)" is close to Portland also and I don't see the Raiders goin' the distance any time soon.

Suh already rich from the Lions... it's just a gut feeling.

If Suh took a deal low enough to be in Seattle's budget the NFLPA would have a stroke.
