Does not comprehending what you are studying mean you are not working hard enough ?
Not in this instance because unlike a math, physics or history class where the test is mentally rote, this is all about a physical action based upon what's read. What makes it worse is that familiar typical anal retentive coach who wants to see "perfection" as only he knows it. I cannot tell you how many times that I've heard "do it again" in practice back in the day.Does not comprehending what you are studying mean you are not working hard enough ?
I may have missed something, but where did RR say anything about DH not working hard enough or being lazy? in fact, what exactly did RR say about any deficiencies in DH? I’m not sure he said anything except the statement about winning the division.
I don’t think he did but un - named sources and where there is smoke there is fire rule the day .I may have missed something, but where did RR say anything about DH not working hard enough or being lazy? in fact, what exactly did RR say about any deficiencies in DH? "Culture change!" "Culture change!" that's what was being pushed with this new regime. So, even if it was factual reporting heard and reported from a source that was from "a person with knowledge of the situation" as they say, where's the accountability? Who is responsible for stepping up to defend against both the offended individual and equally important, the organization? A simple, "we don't do that here!" followed by " We're trying to build something here and "leaks" of this kind won't be tolerated!" would have been enough, but to just let it go, true or not sends a familiar message to fans/followers and supporters of this team and every player in that locker room that RR says he's worried about losing!I don’t think he did but un - named sources and where there is smoke there is fire rule the day .
Nothing learned from the foster debacle . Assassinate character without evidence for clicks is the new sports journalism
I believe that was just more of the mixed messaging. No more no less. And given the current state of this laughable division this year...still an accurate assessment, lolThen assured everyone who dared listen to that BS, that the move was made in order to give the team their best shot at winning, right?
Of course!Let's revisit this no matter what happens with him. If I'm wrong, I'll definitely give you props for taking this position.
Just gotta stick my in again here. You play the schedule in front of you. To me, it’s not about ‘embarassing’ In terms of wins for the division. It remains playing hard, with fight and if the division happens, so much the better for a developing and young team. nothing embarrassing to me about a young team experiencing a one and done playoff round. In fact, I’d argue, a valuable learning experience for their tool kit.Again if your standard is that low I can’t help you
It’s embarrassing

Bingo! Not at all. Some people lack the aptitude on specific subjects to learn or see at the appropriate pace on a given subject.
So are you saying that is what may be happening here with DH?Not at all. Some people lack the aptitude on specific subjects to learn or see at the appropriate pace on a given subject.

For me, it is about play on the field. The incorrect pass protections and decision making we saw. The emphasis on his brand, the selfie, the ‘league done me wrong’ and numerous other things that showed lack of maturity and self awareness involved in playing a TEAM sport.
The question remains, what do we have in DH. I personally didn’t see enough BUT if the reports are true, and I tend to believe them (with Green and Keim and RR inferences and direct statements) there were issues beyond what the average fan could see. Added, are the comments from Terry and no leaks or dissension from any of his other teammates regarding his benching.
I actually agree that the handling of DH by RR was not the best. In hindsight, if RR thought Allen gave the team the best chance because DH wasn't ready to be an NFL QB (for what ever reason), then Ron should've started Allen from game one and work with DH behind the scenes to develop. For all we know, Snyder may have mandated to RR that DH start, which is why it unfolded as it did.I am saying it could be. Or he could be lazy, or misdirected, or entitled. I don’t know him personally, so I do not know his work habits.
I am saying things look very fishy with regard to his handling. I stated when we signed Allen it sends the wrong message, whether innocently or not. Then you look at the timing of when DH was benched, and it has to give you pause. Then you see the result of his benching...we went 1-3 with DH against teams that are a combined 21-15-1. After his benching, we are 1-4 against teams that are a combined 18-29, keeping in mind that four of those wins were against us. I would say there is a very good chance we would have at least two more wins with DH.

Clearly DH has done (or not done) something that has led RR to believe that he is not an NFL caliber QB. What that is, we do not know. They rumors and speculations, are just that. But I don't believe that this was some predetermined, machiavellian plot to "ruin" DH. That just doesn't pass the smell test to me.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you thought that, but there are some here that have insinuated as much. Just way too much drama for me.I don’t believe it was to ruin DH. I believe it was to start Allen because RR predetermined Allen was a better fit. That being said, RR would not have had the support of the fan base, and thus the owner, if he had done so.

i am not talking about whats put in front of us . i expect a division winning team to actually be a winning team and consider anything less as illegitimate and not worthy of chest thumpingI believe that was just more of the mixed messaging. so putting forth that the kid isnt trying hard enough, if this is the case, is an unfair chargeNot at all. Some people lack the aptitude on specific subjects to learn or see at the appropriate pace on a given subject.
