Typical Jayfan response. If there's something negative to be said about his "favorite" team, you can bet he's all over it. If there's something positive to be said about them, though, you can bet he's nowhere to be found.

I think the Lions could trade a 7th round pick for Brady, Gronk, and the ghost of Vince Lombardi, and you'd still find something to bitch about...

Do you not like the post because he's right?? A 4th and a 5th is too much. It's a desperation trade where he got schooled by the Ravens because they knew we were in a horrible position.

Like I am I will bet he is very happy to have Ngata but that doesn't change the fact that the Ravens clearly got the better end of this trade.

Show me a reasonable contract extension and I'll reevaluate my position. Until then its a one year rental on a guy who the Ravens were otherwise going to part with for no compensation.

I'm honestly hoping the Lions will still sign 1 of Fairley or Dan Williams, if they're staying in a 4-3. if not, they can find a 1-tech in the draft pretty easily, imo

They're understandably desperate. No playoffs this year, no jobs next year after botching on Suh. I don't think this makes them a playoff team and I think it hurts the future but I understand the mind set of a drowning Mayhew.

Not as simple as that. Without an extension in place this could very easily be a one year relationship.

If that proves to be the case then its not a good trade. I am simply evaluating it as who got the better end of it. With the Ravens very likely to be cutting him anyway trading away two picks this year favors them by a ton. Its a desperation trade.

Certainly glad to have him but its another loss on Millenhew's record.
