Going with SuddenBreakingNews. across the board.
ex. box (suddenbreakingnews-mohaymen-nyquist)
super. box (suddenbreakingnews-creator-gun runner-nyquist-mohaymen)

replace Mohaymen with Exaggerator for me. I like the rest.

great choice.

horses that have had 4 races or more, on the dirt, of 1M or>, in a field of 10 or > are suddenbreakingnews, Creator, Whitmore and Majesto.

Speed usually kills in the stretch with this race. I should have taken out Gun Runner.

I originally had Brody's Cause but caved with Gun Runner due to his post 5 and early speed, gets out of gate early and can have easy run to rail while saving ground. I still expect him to lose ground in the stretch. That last 1/4 mile is exhausting down the stretch.

I anticipate a closer like suddenbreakingnews, creator or even brody's cause to come a stormin' down the stretch to snag victory from the heart of the speed horses. i.e. nyquist, gun runner

all but their maiden race. Nyquist and Mohaymen have been in Grade 1 or Grade 2 races

6/9 races for Exaggerator have been Grade 1or 2. and one race was a Grade 3. It took two maiden races to get his maiden win. and if it rains Exaggerator excels in the mud or sloppy track. There's some storm clouds in the distance.

Actually I am scratching Gun Runner as well. Adding MOr Spirit. Stevens is smart and the conditions are going to be tricky.

I am worried about Outrun. Johnny V is another crafty vet and that horse likes mud

smart move right there.
I already made live (real $$) bets this am.

Raining right now like a mofo.

Adding MOr Spirit. Stevens is smart and the conditions are going to be tricky.

another good move. you can throw out his last race even tho he was right there at end but 6.5 lengths out. looks like he drifted out or shadow ducked.

seriously. look at mud/sloppy runners/ Exaggerator right in top. 3 races in either muddy or sloppy conditions and won them all. hold up and wait out conditions to see if it has any effect on track

suddenbreakingnews 2nd by a nose in sloppy conditions at a 1M...13Dec2015

Creator 2nd by 2 3/4 in the slop at 1 1/16.......28Nov2015 at CD

Gun Runner faded in the slop at 1 1/16...........28Nov2015 at CD... against Mor Spirit

Whitmore faded badly in the mud at 1 1/16.....21Nov2015 at Ded

Exaggerator won all three races in the mud/slop and his Sire Curlin could run in the slop

neither Nyquist or Mohaymen have run in mud/slop

Outwork won in the slop at Wood memorial last time out but lost ground in the stretch at 1 1/8M

Mor Spirit has two races in slop. 2nd in both but lost ground in first slop race. stayed even last race at lengths behind through stretch

Brody's Cause won his only race in the slop......03Oct2015 at Keenland

damn.. should've stayed with Brody's Cause instead if Gun Runner

Hit the Win and Exacta. Missed the Super. Track conditions did not effect the outcome that much. It was tough to judge though. It was pouring but it didnt last and drained quickly. If the track was normal I would have kept both Gun Runner and Mohaymen and hit the Super too.

I ended up winning over 100 bucks though so no too bad.

yeah, the rain had no effect towards the outcome.

my horse, suddenbreakingnews, was 2nd to last coming into the final turn but made a move late as was coming at end. too little too late though.

those were some smoking fractions with 45 and change through the first half mile. I don't know what the first 1/4 time was or 3/4 time but there was enough speed for closers to work their magic. Exaggerator had the perfect trip inside coming around final turn with an ever so slight move to outward 3-wide. damn good ride by Mario Gutierrez on Nyquist to rein him in and rate him through 1st and 2nd turn and get outside of Danzig Candy. He had a clear path from there on out.

still 2 and 2/5 seconds off Secretariat's time. Monarchos has been the closet of any since Secretariat.

Me too. It would not have mattered. I mispoke earlier. Mohaymen was the horse I was eliminating either way. I would have switched Gun runner for Brody's Cause if the track was dry. It only paid 600 bucks so I am not going to complain about it.

Your horse would have maid it to 3rd if he got a little better break on the last turn.
