Brown is too expensive to trade up to get. it would take this years #54 + #88 and next years 3rd round pick to take #32

Brown is the safer pick with all that La'el Collins has going on right now

I think Collins was a first rounder for sure had he not had this issue. I think if you believe he is innocent you take him and be happy as heck. It doesn't seem like he is guilty to me(IMO), there isn't any evidence yet other than he is the baby's daddy of the victim. Did he have her killed because she was pregnant with his kid? If he is just a victim of a bad coincidence that makes him a tremendous value at this point.

Having Manny Ramirez replaces losing a Garrett Reynolds type who also can man the C or a G spot. It was actually a worthy addition for depth. The value chart in that trade would have been our #23 + #168 + #200 for Den #28 + #92 and next yrs 6th rd from them

not even proven yet if he was daddy of recent baby. I can see your point. Collins has the nastiness to play RT and better footwork than most for a RT. Plus there's versatility with him in a pinch emergency situation.

So I'll be curious to read about the story on Tomlinson in the next few days. Clearly,someone in the orginization really liked him, because we grabbed him higher than has projected to go. Then again the last several pick in the 1st always have some picks that don't gel with the media picks.Look at the ILB New Orleans just took- not a guy most are familiar with, I wouldn't think. Can't recall him being in the 1st round of many mocks I read.

I like the pick because he's a lineman. So I won't complain. I'm still surprised, though.
