So what's the hold up? They were in an ideal cap position to sign a few good FAs, and that didn't happen.
Guys have to want to play here to sign. They read all the same shit about Mayhew as we do. What's the incentive?
Gtfoh. We aint the Raiders. Just because Suh left, doesnt mean players wont want to play in Detroit. Tate pic me them over Seattle didn't he?
Austin and Caldwell being a million times better than the previous coaching staff and a team that is coming off an 11-5 season.
No reason to extend Ngata.
Id rather see him play, then decide. They can always decide to tag him if need be. Without the. Risk of long term money out there.Didn't the Ravens just trade him because he wouldn't take a pay cut? So what's changed? He's gonna take a massive discount to wear Bubbles on his helmet?
Dude will be gone next year.
Fill me in man.I can think of one if it involves young talent.

Im still at none when it comes to a high priced 30something vet.
It's just my opinion... if plans are to bring in young talent, he would be a great mentor. The Lions can afford it without Suh on the pay roll.

Looks to me like they have no intention of going DT in the draft. They were convinced Suh would be back. Ngata became plan B.
Agree. Would be nice if Walker is a gem but I'm not counting on it.
