When was the last time a U of Hawaii player did anything on this team? Raiola? Cuz Dizon and Allama Francis were massisve busts.

Atleast the third round pick was decent

I think Dizon was Colorado.

Alama Francis lmao.
The greatest thing he did for the Lions was bring the coaching staff cookies one time.

I wouldnt say no to a cookie.:D

Well in you missed out on Alma Francis's, now maybe Tavali will bring you some if you go to ford field. He should have time to bake since he is still healing from shoulder surgery.

I saw earlier this off season that the Lions use their base defense less than any team in the league. Running Nickle, Dime, and even 7 DB formations (some still call it quarter defense, some like the Steelers call it the dollar defense). In the playoffs the Chergers famously ran their 7 DB formation to shut down Baltimores spread offense. The Steelers reacted to the trend towards coverage formations by trading everything to get a LB who can still play in coverage.

The Lions used a high second round pick on a old school 2 down inside thumper of a LB....

I'm sure he'll be an upgrade. I'm sure he'll be nice to have. But he won't even be on the field when it counts.

He is an inside linebacker. I doubt he will play over Jared Davis.

He actually looks like exactly like a NE 3-4 ILB type. So he's a sub package guy, unless we transition the the 3-4 as base. Even then he's playing on 3rd down and more than 8 inches.

Well let's see what Fat Pat does with him. I would expect the guy to get lots of action this year unless he has a setback with his shoulder.

Day 3 was pretty solid. I like all our picks. Still not completely behind the Hockenson pick and definetly perplexed by the second round pick. Probably give them about a B- or C+ grade

The worst part of this pick isnt that the kid isnt good (he is decent), its that Pete Prisco loved the pick. Talk about adding insult to injury.

Lions tend to draft better towards the ends of drafts. Must be when Quinn steps out of the room that our picks improve.

Prisco is the worst draft analyst.
