Lions at Cowboys

The Lions’ running backs scare me. They hit holes fast and with purpose.

They got serious talent on offense. I too am concerned . Cowboys need to try to run the ball with Dowdle and Luepke and keep that offense on the bench.

It's sad it took them so long to tweak their running game to a more power smash mouth attack. What they been running since McCarthy got there was not working.

If I was HC Zeke would be riding the bench and Dowdle and Luepke would get all the snaps.

Luepke needs to be on the field much more IMO. He is a hell of a weapon as a receiver. I don't care where they put him.. he can play FB,RB and TE.just get him on damn field more. He is making plays. Is Zeke and Vaughn making an impact? Hell no! I would use him over Schoonmaker as well. Luepke is a matchup problem for teams to deal with. His versatility is something we have not had in a long time. This guy does everything well and as a FB he is elite as a receiver.

The Lions look like a bad matchup for us. But, they are 3-1 and we are 3-2.
- They beat the 1-4 Rams at home in Overtime

- They lost to Tampa Bay

- They beat AZ in a one score game

- They beat Seattle in what was a one score game early in the 4th until they pulled away. Seattle had more rushing yards and also more passing yards, but had 2 turnovers.

SMFH at all these injuries. I wonder who takes over Kendricks role? I expect Liafuo to take over. I don't trust Clark to be up to the task They can keep Overshown in his normal role

My Lions have underachieved so far this year and you guys are at home so there is a decent chance. You will need to bring your "A" game though.

Our defense is attackable still although once these kids get a little more experience (we are one of the youngest D in the league) then I think we will be difficult to beat.

I was thinking the same. Kendricks had a great week one but not so much since. Getting Bland back would really help, Diggs, Bland and Lewis could play more man under and free a safety for the run game

I assume Vigil if he is healthy enough to play and Clark if he isn't. The other two probably stay in their current roles in the base D

Looks like they are being cautious. They don't want to rush him. That said this is not the greatest news. The Lions are far better than the Steelers. This game is a concern given all the injured defensive players.
