Another RB. I saw someone talking about the Lions and saying that the way they draft they should be competitive by 2029.

5 offense to 2 defense. Doubling up on running backs?

You have to admire Patricia for believing he can coach up the defense despite all the evidence telling him he can't.

Lions selected Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus with the No. 166 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Lions first-round pick Jeff Okudah called Quintez Cephus the best receiver he faced during his time in college, and now they are teammates.

why would you Not give Anae a shot here. The short arm b.s. syndrome. Patricia coached the kid at the senior bowl

he stated this before Cephus was drafted by us.

cuz, if it was after being drafted by us I'll throw that comment right out the window.

Anae goes to Dallas

Jerruh understands how this works when you're late into the draft

The Draft Network Quintez Cephus

PROS: Thick and muscular frame with the play style to match it. Shows good technique to clear press coverage with a variety of releases. Attacks blindspots and creates leverage as a route runner. Love how he bends his routes stems, stacks and creates throwing windows. Does a great job angling at the break point to create separation. Won’t get out muscled at the catch point or pinned on vertical routes. Terrific body control, balance and concentration. Finds the football, adjusts and attacks it like an alpha. Above average in contested situations and he does a nice job of positioning his frame to win at the catch point. Appreciate the way he presents himself to the quarterback. Good handwork as a route runner. Strong hands to pluck the football away from his frame. Brings the fight as a blocker and ball carrier.

CONS: Doesn’t offer that late burst to the football and his speed is gradual. Battles through tightness in his lowers on horizontal cuts. Twitch and suddenness is missing. Will he outmuscle NFL corners like he did in college?

BEST TRAIT - Routes, Physicality

WORST TRAIT - No second gear

Cephus is man strong at 23 BP reps. Hell there's DL and OL that can't put up that number

He'll find a soft zone and be able to sit down in it. That was his M.O.
