10 offensive points after halftime that includes 2 OT periods. They punched Georgia in the mouth early, Georgia made the adjustments, and then went in dry.

It was a bit of adjustments and Lincoln backing off with the lead. To be honest I thought it was pretty poor game from the coaches. Either way Georgia won, so this is just offseason fodder.

Defensive touchdowns count against the other team's defense now?

Georgia held Oklahoma's offense to 10 points after halftime, and that includes two overtime periods.
So points in the first half don’t count towards total points against now?

I don't think they're saying that.

I believe Codaxx has a good take on what happened.

UGA had no answers the first half for OU. They made adjustments
and OU made adjustments. UGA had to gamble and go big play
and OU took their foot off the pedal and went into a shell.

Riley was a rookie and obviously unaware that emotion isn't a
light switch. You don't just flip it on and off.

UGA, to their credit, came out to make a game of it. Had
OU kept their foot on the pedal they could have taken UGA
out of the game. Once they let them back in the game, then
UGA had their confidence back.

It was a poor coaching job by Oklahoma. Very poor.

I would say both sides. Forget the OU defensive plan, because that disaster is what we have all come to expect from Stools. Kirby came out base. I couldn't believe he would try to stop that offense being vanilla. It's like he watched 0 film. He finally got aggressive in the 2nd half. Lincoln went to the coaching handbook of dialing it down in the second half, despite watching his own defense struggle to line up correctly. Squib kick seemed to to really turn things

Riley had a "halftime" problem all year long.

I'll take your word for it. I don't know.

But, I could believe it. Our DC, Kelly, had no halftime adjustments.
In any game.

And their choice of players was unreal in some instances. McFadden,
billed as an All-American got torched every game as our cover corner.

He lived off of his uncle's rep at FSU. The last second losses were all
over his head. The opposing coaches knew what was going on.

Then he goes to the combine and runs a 4.8 40. I look at that
and seethed. The coaches had to know and see that and did
nothing about it.

He was one of our 5-star undrafted players. He'll never make it
unless he adds 100 lbs and becomes a 4.8 OT>

So the final analysis was..."Two young coaches in their first big game."

Riley had a "halftime" problem all year long.

More like 4Q adjustment. Defenses had to make adjustments at halftime. He struggled to make the next one, which is the hardest to make.

He also struggled with keeping their heads in the game.

He should have already learned not to rely on Mikey's defense to help and kept the pedal to the metal.

He'll learn.

Not in the slightest. More like amused.

Ha, whatever helps ya sleep at night.

Riley wasn’t wrong about what he said. An it’s just offseason fodder anyway. Just doesn’t help that’s the last team they played and lost.

Yep. He’ll learn. He got that nasty habit of backing off with the lead from Bob. Hopefully he learned from the rose bowl.

This is what you do to your opponent when you have the lead.
