Disappointing day for the defense. They looked good early but could not keep it up. 45 points to this team is a very poor showing. Poorest tackling of the year.
Skylar had his moments, but this was not his day.
Playing an sec team really shows the weakness of our lines and lack of depth. We really need to get some more big guys to compete.
Howard was beyond awful today. He over threw wide open receivers time and time again. I really hope Crest improves enough to be the starter come September. Still proud of our boys for not giving up. A few plays here and there and who knows. Ohh and A-n-M's D is not good, they just had the luxury of playing a horribly inaccurate QB this afternoon.
Only 249 days till kickoff is again.
I just do not get you throwing the kids under the bus, it most certainly is on the damn coaches, THEY are the bosses, THEY tell the players what to run, an effective coach tells the QB to hand the ball off.............Just got done watching the recording of the game.
Skyler had a pretty tough day. So many poorly thrown balls. He makes the play call at the LOS, if he called for the pass option, that is not on the coaches.
Defense was exposed like I feared they would be. WVU is too small up front to hang with the big boys from teams like Texas, OU, Bama and A&M.
Some like to say they don't care about stars attached to high school athletes, but today's game proves how they make a difference. Their 5 star QB was better than our 3 star.
Glad we gave Gibby a much deserved pay raise...
