Just stop, no one cares what you think as everything we say is returned with an arguement or unheard even if it is a reasonable thought. Right? Who knows, it is an opinion on a man none of us know. So your thought process is as right or wrong as ours, whether you want to admit it or not, because it is a guess, plain and simple.

You may think your thought is an educated guess based off this or that, but you can't debate the desire, heart, drive of another man by being on the outside looking in. You have to be closer to them to make that kind of assumption, so just f'n stop with your bullshit and I will stop with my guessing as well.

As I've provided in previous posts, there is solid evidence to hypothesize that Brown doesn't care about winning. Now, I'm waiting for someone to provide some kind of supporting evidence that Mike either cares and as some are claiming, that he wants to continue doing it his dad's way. What is his dad's way and of those things, which is he reluctant to move away from?

If you don't have answers to any of those questions, then fine; but if you aren't going to admit your assertions are baseless, at the very least just shut up and move on. No need to keep responding with your nonsense.

Like I said, it does not matter what supposed "evidence" you supported your unsubstantiated claim with, it is just an fact ofwhat has happened, it does not define a mans heart.

Evidence that he does want to win? I have none, same as you have none saying he wants to lose.

I guess I would have to rebutal with:

1) He is locking up his talented coordinators.
2) He extended his head coach who is moving things in the right direction for a change.
3) Getting rid of the locker room cancers.
4) Adding more scouts to the program even if it is not many more.
5) Excelling in the draft last couple years.
6) Locking up young talent for multi-year deals to sustain the progress we have made.
7) Lowering ticket sales to try and pack the house to help support the players during game days and try and give us that 12th man advantage while at home.

I just believe that if he cared about making money more than winning, he sure the hell would not have approved the new CBA which does not allow him to spend well under cap, and he would not be lowering ticket prices on 14,500 seats. He wouldn't be locking up his young talent, he would be letting them walk to get cheaper unproven talent.

Both of our assessments are pure guessing. You can think what you want, but for the love of God, you are not going to talk me out of my opinion until I can see first hand while hanging out with Brown, that he cares more about money than a winning franchise as an owner of a professional football team.

Dude, you are wasting your time and energy. The guy believes his opinions are the only one that matter and are fact. Why even bother. Just ignore him and don't give him the kind of attention he craves to validify his existence on these boards.

Exactly, there's a reason I haven't joined this convo. Flaming is just craving te attention he needs to justify his sad existence on this board.

To start, I'm not trying to talk you out of your opinion. I know you're a blind supporter of Brown and 78 isn't too far behind you. Always have been and probably always will be. I'm just trying to point out how silly your arguments are.

Continuuing on, the fact that those are all you could come up with for Mike caring about winning is laughable. Most don't even indicate such:

1) Brown's hand was forced to cut ties with Brat, and I believe Marvin had a big hand in getting Bresnahan out of town. The fact that Mike is locking up guys that are already in house is not an indication that he cares about winning, but that he wants to keep things in house, as usual.

2) Extending the guy who hasn't won a single playoff game in 10 years is an indication he cares about winning. Yeah, right. Rather it's further support of the claim he loves keeping things in house, as mentioned above.

3) Adam "Make it Rain" Jones. He finally parted ways with Chad. I hardly see a trend forming here, especially one to claim that he actually wants to change the culture because he cares about winning.

4) It is clear as day Marvin is forcing Mike's hand here. Just as stated in 1 and 2, Mike only cares about keeping Marvin. Things are changing out of his fear of losing Marvin, not because all of a sudden he cares about winning. If that had been the case, we wouldn't still be in the bottoms of the league in scouting department. And Mikey sure as hell wouldn't be pocketing $16 million in salary cap.

5) Having a good draft does not indicate a greater desire to win. Every dog has his day. I'm pretty sure I've seen you credit Marvin for this as well. So, which is it? Or is it whoever supports your argument at the time?

6) You're really reaching here. So locking up young talent is any different than what any normal human being would do, or any different than what Mike has done in the past?

7) Lowering ticket sales doesn't mean he cares to win more. It just means his business model is to get more people in the stadium and make more on concessions. I'm sure he wasn't making nearly as much last year as he has in the past due to the thousands of empty seats. Go figure, it's actually a smart (or maybe common sense) business move.

That was a pretty laughable list.

Next up...

What is his dad's way and of those things, which is he reluctant to move away from?

Not sure if you are refering to me as banning you, but frankly I don't care if you are here or not. Many times you do offer good, insightful opinions and conversation. The problem arises when a subject that is purely speculatory in nature occurs and you can't accept that someone has a different opinion other than yours. You turn around and try to make it about fact when, by definition, you can't. It's opinion. At times I respond, other times I just move on. Also, I would like to point out that I'm hardly a "backer" of Mike Brown. I'm just objective on the matter and can give credit where credit is due (in my opinion). I'm not jaded as some other fans are, and maybe that is due to my age (I'm 33) and not having been an adult through most of the 90's, I didn't really care much about them winning and losing. I just loved watching football. Plus, I live vicariously through other teams to get my wins...LOL

Dan...this is why you need a voice activated keyboard that types as you speak. Of course, we don't want to see words like "aahhhhHHHHHHH, OooohHHHHHH, YEAAAH...." so, when you upgrade you need to make sure that it has a mute option....LOL

Believe it or not, even an opinion should be backed by supporting evidence. It really isn't too much to ask.
