Hearing it’s almost a done deal for a 3rd this year and next year. Going to back up Gurley so he can sit and watch, make sure his nails are done, basically cut his touches by 2/3 and then go to the open market next year.

While I am sure this is meant as a joke this would be an absolute fiasco for the Rams.......Not talent wise but would they want the drama.....the are SB contenders.

Bell is losing bargaining power with every passing game. Not just with the Steelers but every other team.

If you're a NFL GM why would you give Bell a huge deal? We've seen DeAngelo Williams and now James Conner put up basically the exact same numbers as Bell when put in his stead. Every game from here on that Bell misses and Conner performs is decreasing Bells payday.

Not to dis-agree, but the flipside of one less season of wear and tear on Bell can actually help his value

The Jets have 98 million in cap space, and the way they are building there, seems like a great fit

I'm not saying Bell isn't good or wont get signed but no GM in his right mind is giving him 17-18 million a year when we honestly cant even say for sure that hes mot a system back. You can argue it both ways but the evidence is mounting that any halfway decent back would put up Bell like numbers in Pittsburgh . You can explain away a game or two of equal replacement value but this is pretty much every single game

On another note.....while the original post may have been a joke how about a little "What if"

There are many reports the Rams tried to get Mack. Can you imagine how fucking insane that defense would be if they managed that?

There are reports from Atlanta that the Falcons had a deal for Mack in place but Quinn cancelled it because he likes Whoppers better

Mmmmmwell, I think the Jets might just be alright with Powell and Crowell taking care of the running game. At least, well enough for the jets not to blow their cap space wad on one RB. Then again, this is the jets we're talking about

Bell plays on one of the best OLines in the NFL, has a HOF QB throwing, the best WR in the game, and the other WRs aren't shabby either.

Only other teams I could see him successful on that could use a RB is the Raiders (Lynch is only got so much more left in the tank) and Packers, both who have top 10 offensive lines and of course the later has a HOF QB throwing.

If Bell goes to a team like the Bucs or Dolphins, he'll fall off the map completely.

Poor Bell. He never got the memo that NFL RB's are a dime a dozen. Its a passing league

He had the 10th most receptions in the league last year on far fewer targets than anyone else in the top 10.

Trying to put this out there on the interwebz... maybe it will trigger some thought. Gurley might need a breather here and there

I'd figure a better landing spot in California would be with the 49ers.

There are many reports the Rams tried to get Mack.

That was a misquote. It got all mixed up with Aaron Donald signing. The correct headline should have read...

Rams celebrate at McDonald's with Big Macs.

Not Rams sign Donald and go after Big Mack.
