I had an L1 Compression fracture & I could barely walk & breathing made me cry. A snail might have moved faster than I did & I couldnt lift my feet more than 2 inches off the ground without unbearable pain. I walked through my back door (sliding glass door) because the threshold was lower than my front doors. of course at that time I didnt know I had a broken back. Just knew I was hurt. As bad as that was. Surgery was never in consideration. I just had rehab & rest for 3 months. (well the rest was 3 months before I could go back to work)
