rich boosters will be able to financially influence kids to attend their school
Guess we will have to resort to a draft.... the question is do we allow G5's to participate in the draft or keep it strictly P5's since G5's cant afford to compete anyway.

LOL average 20 rounds per year 63 schools selecting ESPN gets the sole rights to televise the draft.... lolol(gotta include Notre Dame the other Indy's can pound sand)

Maybe the fat ugly linemen can get sponsorship deals from businesses.

They could wear patches on their uniforms like Nascar.

Alumni will be irate at the thought of their money paying kids to play for their alma mater. They think a degree has value.

They'll demand the athletes pass tests relevant to their curriculum. CFB teams will be decimated.

Football will develop a minor league, like baseball.

Football in the NCAA might return to a sport for those actually attending college instead of just NFL tryouts.

...but call me an optimist.

There is a reason this hasn't been done already.

It would be incredibly expensive.

All those spring training parks, like the Red Sox and Twins in my town, are just begging to be used in the winter months. I don't know why it would be more expensive than the NHL farm league. We really like our Everblades down here and it doesn't get more expensive than that indoor ice rink stadium.

JetBlue Park (Red Sox) It's empty most of Fall and Winter.

Football requires more of everything that costs money:

More players to field a team
More coaches
More trainers
More equipment
Etc.

Liberals destroy everything they touch. SF and LA are drowning in homeless, junkies, millions of illegal aliens, needles, human waste, garbage, rats, and diseases that were eradicated centuries ago are now returning. Yet, this pandering "progressive" hibitual lair turd Newsom goes on tv to grandstand on this matter with pro-athletes who live in gated mansions like he's doing something worthy for society.
Those homeless are non working people. Us people who live and work in Cali are doing great. Every person in my social circle is gainfully employed..it's about time the actual people generating the billions for schools and the NCAA get something

Nike was already paying Zion before he went to Duke. Now it would just be out in the open. I thought we were in a capitalistic society.

I dont watch a lot of baseball, but the top down on this "ballpark" looks like a retarded engineer designed it.... was there a story behind this building??? or is the squiggles of the park and stadium intentional?

And yet thousands of high schools have teams.

Not sure what your point is.

Are you implying that high schools produce NFL ready players ?

Because that's what college ball does and what a minor/farm league team would have to do.

Why do you think NFL has a rule about years removed from high school to enter the NFL? Hint, it is not because they are concerned about their education.

My point is theres money to spread around. Acting like theres no way that players cant be marketed to make some extra money is ridiculous.

You are saying that because high schools have football teams, that there is money to be spread around to create a farm league for the NFL?

That makes no sense.

Didn't realize you were retarded, or I would not have replied to your retarded statement.

Have a great day
