Thanks and to be honest I will probably compare it to the Navarro Bowman deal. Which so far we are looking like we got ahead of the deal with Lee's contract extension being 6yr/42MM 16.1MM guaranteed and Bowman's extension being 5yr/42 with 25.5 guaranteed.

Looks like it is so far, and pushes me right on my numbers if the contract projects the way I see it doing so his cap hit should only be about 4-5MM next season after all is said and done.

Funny they must not have read my post about the cap. Only player we MAY not keep and I say MAY will be Murray, and that is all up to him and what his camp thinks is fair, because I don't see us overpaying him at all.

Was just grinning as I thought about PE1 and the couple of Redskins fans who were talking as though their team will be able to wrest Lee away from us. You'd think by now they'd realize Jerry doesn't lose too many player's unless he really doesn't care about keeping them.

I like this signing a lot. I never thought he would get away. Looks to be good value if health holds up. Its all about the health with this guy. A tremendous difference maker on the field.

"Lee signed a six-year extension Wednesday worth as much as $51 million, including a $10 million signing bonus, according to a source. The base value of the deal is $42 million. He will make a $630,000 base salary in 2013, and will have base salaries of $5.5 million (2014), $2.5 million ('15) and $3 million ('16), with $7 million base salaries from 2017 to 2019."

I don't see a lot of guaranteed money.
