It seemed like in the games that were played in Toronto, it wasn't really packed

I don't know if Toronto can handle an NFL team - just my honest view

Toronto would be the 3rd largest market in the NFL if they got a team

Lets put it this way: If you had a NFL team that you supported located 110 miles away, that had the cheapest tickets in the league and played in a stadium conducive to the NFL "experience" (tailgating, enthusiastic fans etc.), would you pay double the price of that ticket + transportation in order to watch that same team in a craptastic dome in your hometown?

Besides the fact there aren't exactly a shit ton of Bills fans here to begin with, the ones that do live here would much rather watch their team at their real home, and can do so whenever they want. The entire idea was stupid to begin with.

The CFL hasn't needed the Argos for quite some time.

I rip the CFL, and I do so because it is a league with second tier talent and I simply am not interested in that. My opinion.

On the other hand, I understand how passionate some people are in this country about the league, and in that regard I think the league is a great thing. But Toronto simply does not give a flying fuck about the Argos, they haven't in some time, and there are other places in the country (like London, Quebec City and the Maritimes) that would probably support wholeheartedly the CFL in their city. So give it to them. Why are they trying to ruin a soccer stadium here, or going to build a new one elsewhere in the GTA for a team nobody cares about? It's unfair to the league, unfair to the players and unfair to the cities that could use a team.

Well put !!!! Send em to Saskatoon

Strange year this one - I think the Lightning, Panthers, Jackets, Flyers and Jackets all improve next season, while the Bruins, Pens, and Rangers regress. Unsure about Detroit, I don't think Ottawa, Carolina or NJ are going to be very different from where they are now, and while Montreal are going to look different I don't see them moving much either.

All in all, I don't see a Leaf playoff round this year. I think with the inevitable injuries and the push to get Gardiner and Rielly more ice time, and the fact Celine will still be out there for nearly half the game, no to mention Randy still calling the shots, Bernier is going to see almost as many shots as he did last season.

Elimination date: April 4

Randy gets fired during the January swoon; January 20, after they top off their 0-4 Western swing with a home loss to the Canes. Steve Spott gets promoted to his position.

Spotter is a good guy (I mean that for real too, he's actually an old friend) but he has no NHL coaching experience of any kind on his resume and he's not a beloved former player who can get away with something like that. I don't think they'll give him the Leaf job right out of the AHL.

Eliminated March 16th

Carlyle fired January 18th, after the long holiday road trip to accommodate the World Juniors and then the west coast road trip finishes him off.

Whatever. As long as they don't hire Bylsma I'm fine.

Sorry I didn't mean to, really. I always thought the mathematical certainty made it official.
