Some people still cling to the notion that the CFL would die without the Argos, but with the TSN contract in place, I'm not sure if that would be the case. Did I see approximately 17,000 was the attendance for the first Argos home game? Might as well move the franchise out of Toronto if people don't want to attend home games.
Maybe not officially, but the Oilers haven't played a meaningful game in January for the last four years...

Leafs eliminated on 4/3, Randy Carlyle fired after the last game of the season
Just taking a wild guess
A pretty good one , wild or not. With a new PREZ , Randy needs to get in at least 2nd round to survive i believe

The CFL hasn't needed the Argos for quite some time.
I rip the CFL, and I do so because it is a league with second tier talent and I simply am not interested in that. My opinion.
On the other hand, I understand how passionate some people are in this country about the league, and in that regard I think the league is a great thing. But Toronto simply does not give a flying fuck about the Argos, they haven't in some time, and there are other places in the country (like London, Quebec City and the Maritimes) that would probably support wholeheartedly the CFL in their city. So give it to them. Why are they trying to ruin a soccer stadium here, or going to build a new one elsewhere in the GTA for a team nobody cares about? It's unfair to the league, unfair to the players and unfair to the cities that could use a team.

As you can probably tell, I am a big CFL fan, but I respect your opinion because I hear the exact same thing from plenty of my friends who have no time for the CFL and are huge NFL fans. I'm not looking to change anyone's thoughts regarding the CFL as you are right, the guys who play in the CFL are mainly guys who are either too small or too slow for the NFL. That said, it is a very entertaining brand of football to watch in my opinion.
Send the Argos to London or Halifax. Leave BMO field alone. And build an NFL stadium for the inevitable NFL team that is coming
If they don't get moving on a NFL team here soon, they're going to run out of places to put a stadium. Downsview will only stay empty for so long, and the near suburbs are full as it is.
And I respect that. Like I said, totally get why some teams have passionate fans. Toronto just doesn't and, from the league's perspective, why keep a team in a place they aren't enjoyed when they can be enjoyed elsewhere? Why does the league feel like Toronto is a must for its viability? They are the most successful sports team in the city and yet rank somewhere below MLS and above the Marlies for support. Not the best way to grow your brand.
Toronto doesnt care about the CFL anymore. We are ready for the NFL.
97% of the football fans I know are NFL fans and rarely if at all watch the CFL
It seemed like in the games that were played in Toronto, it wasn't really packed
I don't know if Toronto can handle an NFL team - just my honest view
