My first thought is these rankings make no sense but here goes the top 10 along with a few notables movers/droppers

Can someone explain to me how JDP moves up to 4 after being eliminated in the 2nd round and how does Fed drops to 8? He didn't make the finals last yr, did he? I can understand the Murray drop

Fed didn't lose any points.

It's just that Stan gained 1,640 points (360 for quarters, 2,000 for win) and was only about 200 behind Fed
and Berdych gained 360 points (360 for quarters and 720 for semis) and was about 180 behind Fed.

DelPo lost 45 points (3rd round is 90, 2nd is 45), but he passed both Ferrer and Murray. Ferrer lost 360 (Semis to quarters, the opposite of Berdych) and Murray lost 840 (1,200 for finals and 360 for quarters). DelPo was passed by Stan, who as I said above gained 1,640.
