Ferrer is really falling.

What is the deal with Del Potro? Done for the year.

Surprised Berdych is still there. He never seems to make it to the semis. Ferrer may be dropping out soon. Should see Janowicz up there soon if he gets his head screwed on straight.

I think a lot of the older women will start to drop now. Bouchard, Kivitova, and Halep will continue to rise. Na will start to drop soon and Jankovic will be out soon.

Kivitova is getting in better shape and could be the next dominant player. Of course Vika will probably get back up there if she can get her fitness back.

Where is Isner?

By my math, he should be #11, but he's only 10 points ahead of Gulbis and 45 ahead of Nishikori with a lot more points to defend. Gasquet's also only a couple hundred behind. Considering he has to defend 600 points in Cincy, I'd be pretty surprised if he was higher than 14 going into the US Open.

Berdych is fine. He still has the 5th most points in 2014. He had a run of semis in Aussie, win in Rotterdam, and finals in Dubai where he got over 1,500 points in three tournaments. The cutoff for the top 10 is normally around 3,000, so he's halfway there by those tourneys alone.

Janowicz is outside the top 60 in 2014 points. It's pretty unlikely we'll see him in the top 10 in the next year. At this point, I'd be surprised if he ever makes it.

Yeah, for some reason I was thinking Kei went out in the third round, not the 4th. That's an extra 90 points. He also only is defending 145 points between now and the end of the US Open.

He's the guy who is likely gonna take that spot in the top 10 that DelPo is vacating, and he has a decent shot to make WTFs.

Finally Dimitrov overtakes Nishikori. I always felt that Nishikori was a bit overhyped.

I think Raonic at 6 is a bit high. Big serve, big feet too. He lumbers about too much and if he isn't serving aces he's in trouble. If he isn't careful he'll drop like Isner did.

Bouchard at 7 is about right. Like a lot of kids she needed that good Wimbledon spanking she got in the final to get her head on straight. Needs a better serve too. Which is the one thing she can just work on over and over.

No comparison between Isner and Raonic. Raonic is far more talented and has a better game.

Raonic moves a little better. Other than that, their games are very similar.

Tennis is a game of movement more than anything else, so it's a big difference.

When Nadal runs out of steam and slows down, I can see Raonic winning a slam alongside Dimitrov but not Isner.

Well, Isner's 29. And I never liked his chances to even make a slam final given his movement deficiencies. There's only so much a guy that big can do.

Raonic would need a lot of help to ever win a major,IMO. The only world class/grand slam thing about him is the serve. His forehand is pretty good when he has time to set it up, and his backhand is a big weakness. His biggest weaknesses are his return and most especially his movement.

If nobody with a complete package joins Dimitrov at the top when Nadal, Nole, and Murrray fade, then Raonic has a much better shot.

I think Nadal is gonna try and make his "bounce back" after this disastrous Wimbledon. I don't see him doing well at the Open unless he shows flashes of improvement at the warm ups but he should be juiced up before the AO to make a serious run.
