I really don't care how people gamble away their money. I know a guy who always bets the dogs. I'm talking $1000 hits and when he does hit, he parlays' the hell out anything he can stack. He'll hit one out of every fifteen to twenty bets and always talks about the huge wins. Never about the $25,000 losses after a $40,000 win week.

I hit the C's on a $5M bet from my internet poker club Friday night at +135. Then I lost $125M playing Texas Hold 'Em. (Not real dollars)

Wrong answer. While your comment may apply to individual bets, they even out with the higher volume of betting. Anyone who ever took a statistics class probably forgot everything the class taught except this one concept. The betting trends reflect the overall sentiment.
