Last night's Rams-Vikes game

Talk about an air show. Both sides demonstrated what a really good passing game looks like. The Rams are clearly the class of the conference, if not the entire league. If ours could even meekly resemble how those two offenses performed, we'd be in the playoffs without question, especially with our defense. Prior to the start of the season, I thought we had the second best defense in the division. When we traded for Mack, I still thought it remained only the second best, but drew a lot closer to Minny than previously. Now I'm convinced we have without question the best D in the division and the NFC for that matter. And I think we could give the Jags a run for the money for the best defense in the NFL. But it will only get us so far if the offense doesn't do its part.

Minnesota's D looks downright subpar right now. I think the Griffin situation is really hurting them.

They may not be as tough as originally thought. However, there's still 3/4 of their season left and I expect them to at least semi bounce back.

There's nothing about our consistent dominance that should give a reason to doubt. The Green Bay game sucked, but there was a lot of flukey shit with that too. Mack and Smith also only played very limited in that game, if you remember.

Agreed on the remainder of the season. Any team, especially one that has been as good as Minny has been the past few years, can always get their act together and go on a nasty run. But there's something about what I've seen from them this year so far that tells me they never quite recovered from that NFC Finals drubbing they received from Philly last year. At least defensively they haven't. Championship defenses don't give up 27.5 pts per game. Yes, it's still too early to completely write their D off, but no way do I now think theirs is better than ours. No way.

All of the doom and gloom over Tolliver starting from the media and other posters... It's making all your guys anxiety rub off on me. I'm feeling uneasy about it just from hearing constantly about what a "big deal" it is vs TB.

I guess I just think our safety play and pass rush has been so good, that we can absorb it. Everyone is freaking me out, though. lol

EDIT: I wouldn't say Seattle has a "poor" offense.

Most brutal schedule in the league IMO.


It was brutal BEFORE the likes of Tampa and Miami surprised everyone a bit.

Rams LB's/Edgerushers are legit terrible, man. They have a couple injuries (Talib is already out for a while) and that D is gonna be pretty ungood. It is very hard to make a living if your edgerushers blow. That offense can only be stopped by Jared Goff though.

I think our offense matches up well with their defense. Our interior line is very strong. If Daniels steps in and plays well, I think they will be more than capable of handling their DTs. Jordan Howard can punish their LBs. their sexondary is very good, but without Talib, it starts to create more holes.

Howards been off to a not so good start...………..I think our run blocking needs to get better,and I kinda blame that on the d-line keying on our Howard cause of Trubiskys play.
But then again,we have the same qb as last season and Howard ran wild...….So I guess I …………..

I remember when everyone was saying Howard was going to lead the league in rushing TDs back in preseason. To which i lol'd. Good times. I guess I could go back and look up who all those idiots were but what's the point, idiots will remain idiots.

Note: Howard is tied dead last in the league in TDs but it's still early lol.

As opposed to last year when Glennon was running the team? Everyone was quick to point out how even with Glennon, Howard was 3rd in the league in TDs. Now you're saying it's because of Trubisky, Howard isn't running well. You can't have it both ways.
