Large amount of NHL games today. No national TV games

It’s NYE, the NHL has an enormous amount of games on today, by far more than any other league. Yet no games are on TV. There’s a couple bowl games on. Even NBA games are hidden on their own NBA network, seems like a perfect opportunity for the NHL to get some viewers, but alas I can’t find an NHL game on any station.

not even NBC Sports which is usually good about airing hockey playoff games, has American ninja warrior airing instead of just one of the huge amount of NHL games on.......

how can the NHL ever grow if it never airs it’s games?

4 games being broadcast nationally up here today. Got the rest of the Christmas snacks spread out and enjoying the hell out of them all.

/although I do with Isles/Caps was airing right now instead of Bruins/Devils

My current cable tv contract ends in August 2020 and I will be essentially cutting the cord at that point.

/Keeping basic cable for local news etc., but online streaming will be my go-to for sports viewing.

I use Reddit streams. Watching the Jackets score on Bob.

Watching 2 games. In one they keep showing Hamilton the pig, a pig dressed in a hat. In the other someone is spittin' their chewin' tobacca in a bottle right behind the coach.

Glad neither game is a national feed.
