Tonight is the problem with this team, and I said it was shameful... I agree we have energy for the most part (better than the last few years)... But when we play games vs guys who also hustle but have a better team we will get thumped... We'll steal some wins vs lazy/tired good teams beat most bad teams and for what...? Nash is DONE, and I thought he would pull a season out his pocket... Gasol and Henry are the only bright spots and Hill gets no love for some reason... Dump Nash and Dantoni off at the next Pheonix game and let's build for the future now... Nash should be coming off the bench if he won't retire... This team is ugly! all things said...

GO LAKERS!!! Fuck everybody else!:L

Need some patience with this team fellas. Remember, they're not winning anything this year anyway and it's going to take a good 35+ games before we really know what we have.

In short, this is to be expected. We're 5 games in and sitting at 2-3 when most figured the Lakers would be looking at 1-4 or maybe even 0-5!!

I remind you: It could be worse. We could be Celtics fans!!

Well TLF12, didn't you state this previously after the Spurs loss? Wlk3 is right. Don'tknowi just is not an NBA level head coach. Nash is done and if we can't get rid of the guy, bring him off the bench or make him a coach under Kurt Ramnis and then let's trade Steve Blake out of here. This team has some good talent and they have great chemistry. Rambis would do the trick.

I guess the LAKERS shot their load defensively the first game. A few players have already made that excuse of being tired after the first game. LAKERS are bad at defense and shoot a low% on the outside. But they shoot a lot out there. Not a good combo. But if they played defense it wouldn't matter as much. One good thing is the LAKERS this season are committing less turnovers than the experienced All star Lakers team from last season. Of course that's not saying much as last years team got about 20 turnovers a game.

I agree Chillipepper. We are way down on turnovers this year and are free throw shooting is way up. Serval people were concerned about our D and its weakness shows up fairly blatantly when we are tired.

Those two areas are a BIG plus. FT% and less turnovers. Now get to shooting better and PLAY defense. GO LAKERS!

Yeah. I did. It's been 5 games. Not 35 games. They also don't have Kobe. You need your superstars on the road and the Lakers don't have theirs.

As for D'Antoni not being an NBA level coach, he sure looked like one in Phoenix and New York when he had plaers running his system that were used to playing together.

The Lakers had huge roster turnover, their missing Kobe and some folks act like they were supposed to be contenders this year.

Every single Lakers fan on this board was saying all pre-season long "We don't expect to win anything. We'll have to be patient" and now some are acting like they expected the team to be 5-0 right now. They've played tough at home and struggled badly on the road. That's exactly what is to be expected of this type of team at this point in the season.

I think the season opening win over the Clippers may have caused some folks to set their expectations a little too high.
