Jordan is not a point guard imo. If you have Buddy, why would go after another shooting guard??
I don't know much about Buddy. I thought he was a PG

The latest is Russell for Okafor straight-up and possibly a third team to get another top five pick to add both Ingram and Hield.
The Lakers are working on rebuilding their frontcourt this draft so that is why the Russell move is being speculated on. Ingram is just another piece of the puzzle but he doesn't solve their center and PF position deficits. We shall see what Mitch and company actually do.

Randle plays PF......that position is in good hands imo.
BTW.....good to see you, Retro. Among my travels here on tHoop I often see other Laker fans like TJ and a few others but haven't see you much lately. I think I even ventured into a Rams thread.....
Welp...Luke's officially our coach now

I'd be happy if they traded Russell for both Okafor and the draft pick that lands them Buddy.
Move Clarkson to the PG position, have Buddy come off the bench and try to get a SG in free agency.
He's actually considered a combo guard, so he can run point. If the Luke brings the offense that most expect he will, it won't really matter because it doesn't require a true point guard.
The reason to go after another SG is that you need backups. They would have the option of signing a top tier SG and bringing Hield off the bench or signing a solid SG to backup Hield.
I agree Ram. Just keep it simple. I hope Maker is there in the second, but I doubt it.I wouldn't trade Russell either for Hield for the reason you listed lakersrule. If you listen to the pundits, the Lakers are enamored with Hield because he is a sharp shooter. I say add Ingram and go after a big man in the second.
