The Lakers are having dinner with Ingram Wednesday night and then working him out Thursday. Let him order anything he wants. He needs to pack on some pounds.

They need to make sure he orders a couple of these:

And the speculation continues with the pundit writers and what they envision for the Lakers. I think many of us would like to see Whiteside a Laker but there are many factors that must fall into place for that to be a reality. One major factor is the notion that Whiteside would have to change his preference of staying in Miami to leaving for the biggest bucks elsewhere of which the Lakers would be the preferred destination. We shall see.

Lakers free agency rumors: Heat reportedly want to sign Hassan Whiteside to less than the max

Luke added another assistant. Some dude from Toronto. A good player development coach supposedly.

Yea lakersrule. The guy's name is Jesse Mermuys who is a very good development coach for the Raptors last couple of years. Should fit in nicely on Luke's staff. Luke is quietly putting together a staff of championship-caliber winners.

Anyone see the recent pictures of Clarkson? Dude's got like Dwight Howard shoulders now. The Lakers have one of the best in grass-fed Tim.

I hope it is not PEDS, specifically anabolic steroids in one of the many "legal" forms!

Rumour has it the Lakers want to trade D'Angelo for either the #3 or #4 pick so they can pick up Buddy too.

What would you guys think of a 'Buddy for D'Angelo' trade?

I think it's just speculation without much base. The Lakers have been trying out EVERYONE from lottery picks to UDFAs.

I like Buddy, but he's a bit one-dimensional. He is basically the best perimeter shooter in the draft though. I think it would be tough for the Lakers to get that much value for Russell after a rookie season that wasn't outwardly impressive. It would have to be with a team that thinks the Lakers are making a mistake. I think it might be a mistake, as Russell should be a much better fit in Walton's incoming system.

With Damion Jones undergoing pectoral surgery (injured during a pre-draft work out with the Magic), any chance he falls to 32? Last projection I saw for him was at 22. Athletic 6'11 245lb center with size, speed, wingspan, and a midrange game that needs to work on his focus and become a harder worker.

Another target I like for that #32 pick is UNLV's Patrick McCaw. Great perimeter defender, great size for a SG, solid perimeter shooter, biggest issue is he is very slight at 180 lbs. Combined with Ingram, that's some major skinny, lol.

I wish the media would stop this speculative shit. It is getting old. Who says Ingram is going at number two. May it is Buddy Hield. Who knows but this stuff is really getting tiresome.

Buddy Hield Shooting Drills At Lakers Workout (VIDEO)

Get used to it. The draft is Thursday. Once the finals are over, the speculation is going to go into hyperdrive. The vast majority will simply be clickbait. I'm sure that the Lakers are receiving/will receive all kinds of offers for that #2 pick.

I think he'll be a 6th man in the NBA.....good for 25-28mpg.

The latest is Russell for Okafor straight-up and possibly a third team to get another top five pick to add both Ingram and Hield.

I'd be happy if they traded Russell for both Okafor and the draft pick that lands them Buddy.

Move Clarkson to the PG position, have Buddy come off the bench and try to get a SG in free agency.

Jordan is not a point guard imo. If you have Buddy, why would go after another shooting guard??
