Since Ayayi was cut, the second two-way contract was signed by another Center, Jay Huff. Not a bad move. Apparently the dude can hit threes and sech. The season starts tonight at Staples Center versus the W's. Should be interesting to see if this supposed Championship roster can finally get a win after a winless preseason. I wonder if the Lakers are going to play defense tonight?

Lakers are playing well. They are up by five coming to the half. D is a little shaking. James and AD high scorers so far. Westbrook and Munn need to get going.

Westbrook finally on the board. The Lakers look pretty good except their D is a bit slow.

Like the block by Bazemore on Curry. One guy who is playing D along with AD is Bazemore.

Up by six at the half. Ad and James are carrying the team as expected. Good to see Anthony leading the way for the newbies (older dudes). Still has a pretty good shot.

Lakers lose their opener by 7. Gave-up 121 points to the W's so their defense remains a problem. Outside of James and AD, nobody else scored in double figures. The Lakers died in the second half and they looked like they went home early in the fourth quarter. Can't win championships playing like this and I suppose they will figure things out, best rotations, defensive woes, etc.

Follow that W's loss with loss Number 2 to the Suns at home by 10, who then get beat by 29 by Portland.

Lakers calling a timeout with just 3 and change minutes into the contest and the Griz are already up by a score of 10-4.

James is ofer and so is Westbrook. Looks like things haven't changed much since the opening tip-off! Same story. A few came to play, the rest are standing around whistling Dixie I suppose.
