You don't have to worry much. As things stand now, they won't get it anyway. They only get it if it falls between 2 and 5 (it goes to the Sixers anywhere else). Right now, the pick is in the 10 to 11 range so its very unlikely they win a lottery spot from that position and vault into the top 3.

I'll agree with this guy's assessment of the Lakers and I think he has significantly contributed to the Lakers recent turn-around. Someone has lit a fire under Randle's butt and it could very well be IT.

Low and behold, it's finally starting to come together. They went through that phase where they didn't know how to close games, and they've steadily grown into a young, well oiled machine.
On a sidenote, and I'll mention this on the main board as well...remember when people was sayin Lonzo was a bust?

The Lakers fourth quarter woes continue to kill them as the defense and the shooting went away in the fourth quarter and Lilliard went off. We lose by 5. That game was winnable. I know this team has to learn how to win but now they need to develop a killer instinct and begin protecting their homecourt. I suppose they'll get there eventually.

Not too worried about that. Portland is darn good team. The Lakers did have a 9 game hiome win streak, so that shows they are beginning to learn to protect the home floor.

Luke continues to frustate me with his rotations. Especially, the end of 3rd quaters and beginning of 4th quarters The lakers seem to lose leads quickly. Another lost game after leading in the fourth.

That seems to the obvious pattern, Tomodach and it may be leading to momentum killing game-losses but I am not quite sure the situation is that extreme... ...yet!

Almost and they had to work to get the win. We may have a tough time getting over that 30-win hump but they will have to do get it over that next hurdle.
